Here is a completely non-textile post, it doesn’t happen very often but I do have other interests other than fabric and yarn, promise.  I have another business venture, Pug Jewellery.  Technically it’s a joint venture, jewellery designed by me and made by my silversmithing hubby.  You may recognise some of the designs from my own textiles, they are the basis for my Cuddly Pugs and Pug Tote Bags.  This is something we started years ago but as my husband is always rushed off his feet, it’s difficult for him to find time to make up these little cuties.  After much nagging though I managed to get him to make some up for Christmas and I’m happy to say that we sold quite a few pairs of earrings.

We’ve been trying to catch the sunny weather to take some new pictures of the jewellery though, the old ones were awful, but small silver jewellery can be so difficult to photograph!  Whilst the light wasn’t brilliant we still managed to get some fairly nice photos, this was a massive help when building the new quick website last weekend (it really helps being married to a web designer sometimes!).

So here it is, the new website:
Plain Jane Pugs websiteThe shop section points to both the Folksy and Etsy shops at the moment but it’d be nice to have a shop on there eventually.  Here are a few of the pictures we took:

And here is Lola looking bored whilst we took all these photos, not enough attention paid to the Pug I think ;)
