Would you love to decorate your walls with knitting?  Well, there is a company in Liverpool who are doing just that.  Murals Wallpaper have a lot of murals available on their site but they have just launched this knitting range for the craft obsessed amongst us. Can you imagine any of these designs on the wall of your craft room or studio?

If knitting isn’t your thing then there are plenty of other images to choose from or they can also print a custom design for you.  I was also particularly taken with the Design wallpaper range which has some great designs but I would also love to have one of my own designs on my walls at home or in my studio.  Prices for the murals start at £23.50 per square metre and your wall covering is created to your wall specifications, whatever the size.

COMPETITION
The lovely people at Murals Wallpaper have generously offered a £100 gift voucher to give away to one of my readers, you can spend this on ANY design.

HOW TO ENTER:  To enter, just leave a comment on this blog post.  Why not tell me which of these knitted designs is your favourite or what you would choose to have on your wall if you could have your own custom image or design?  The competition is now closed, congratulations to Mrs Ribchester who was entry no’6, picked using the random number generator.

The competition ends on at Midnight on the 1st September, I’ll choose a winner on Monday 2nd and contact the winner shortly after.  Good luck!

At first glance I thought image 1 would be my favourite as I absolutely love to wear white, aran cable knit jumpers in winter however I really like the bright, colourfulness of image 3.

The landscape murals hace to be my fave though. I really like Misty Lake

Custom wallpapers are a wonderful idea as they free you from the limitations of fashion. I was always disappointed as a child that I couldn’t have the room I wanted because the wallpapers simply didn’t exist.

I love the idea of knit patterned wallpaper, those examples are lovely but I’d probably choose a Norwegian sweater yoke pattern for my baby sons room, interesting enough to help his eyes to focus and providing a link to a country and culture that we love.

I’m so glad my friend shared thbis blog on her FB newsfeed – so much great stuff!. I’ve fallen in love with the Cream Knitted Jumper design. We’ve only just finished the basics of decorating our new place so I think I’ll save up and try to convince the hubby… the ‘space’ range is also pretty sweet – the nebulas/galxies and closeup of the moon are stunning.

The other design I was thinking of for the wall in question is books. There are loads of design out there… but the only really nice one I’ve found was £100+ a roll. Maybe these guys could do a nice one so there’s a choice of two ;)

Blue Triangles Design Wall Mural would be so fun in my upstairs with it’s slanted walls. I can already see decorating for the holidays :)

Lovely idea- I’m liking the multicoloured sweater design, though the horizontal stripes in other designs are appealing; would love something that looks cosy and blankety – possibly patch work squares of block colour with the odd striped square thrown in to jazz it up!
