Well I popped in to my fave LYS (The Wool Baa – Sheffield) and as usual didn’t come out without spending but that’s only normal. I went with my ‘friend in knit’ Em and she bought me a lovely little book as my Christmas present! It’s the Monkey and Sofia Knitting book and it’s great…. Read more »
Here is Ysolda’s Elijah which I’m knitting up in Debbie Bliss dk cotton. So far I’m quite happy with the way he’s knitted up although I’ve had a few problems picking up the stitches on the flat surface. Just his ears to do now!!

I absolutely love it!!! I waited three months to be added to the list (which flew by!) and now I’ve been on it about a month. Until yesterday I had hardly added anything but within the last day I’ve added 83 stash items and about 17 projects!Everyone should be on Ravelry!

I finished the lovely baby hat for Lizzie and it went really well. I am amazed how quickly things knit up on circulars!I’m now knitting another one for another friend who is having a baby – soooo exciting!
