I don’t know where to start really – what a bad week and a half I’ve been having!  I hate to moan but I just haven’t been able to get my head straight.  In some ways I’ve had a great couple of weeks, including selling all of the stock I made 2 weeks ago! That was fantastic really although now I have nothing to put on my etsy shop of course but I hope to rectify that soon.So what’s been up then?  Well, it’s the dreaded back again.  Those of you with bad backs will nod your heads in sympathy I’m sure!  I’m really fed up of it now because I’ve been in so much pain I couldn’t walk at times.  I’ve still been going in to work though because I really can’t be off sick now so I’ve just had to deal with it really.  When I’m at home all I want to do is rest which is playing havoc with my other work! At the moment the hubby is having to help me get in and out of bed and help me get up whenever I sit down.  Poor thing, I think he’s fed up of me screaming in pain.

Only good thing…knitting and knitting books!  I’ve been working on my socks (when I’ve not felt too fed up and tired) and I’ve found a nice new knitting book; Knitwear by Sasha Kagan.

It’s a lovely book with some absolutely gorgeous patterns in it, including some lovely cardigans.  If you like Rowan then you’ll love this book!  Have a look in your local library and see if it’s available!

Ok, now for a little self promotion.  I took (that’s a fib – hubby took, I watched – totally immobile from a chair!) some nice new pictures of my knitting bags for my new website.  They’ve gone down really well with my friends and the knitters at work who have all bought one, and one of the best things about it is using one myself for my socks at the mo!
